A short film.

Anthony ( Prentice Myles ), an army veteran, struggles to adapt to his new civilian life as full-time waiter. Living his tedious daily routine, he has to choose the right words to convince his estranged wife to reunite with him, while also reconciling with his old military lifestyle.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

“Bringing “GREYLOCK” to life has been my most challenging film project to date. In early 2020, I wrote the story during the pandemic, while still in my active military service. My goal was portray how difficult it is for a veteran to bring a masculine, civilian world after years of service. During the pandemic, while most stayed home, service members continued to go about their daily duties, the main difference this time, daily duties remained the same for several months, making it incredibly tedious and difficult to stay out of the loop. As soldiers, the biggest challenge has always been staying mentally strong, and with that comes purpose. I found myself writing a story about how someone with the same mindset will have to deal with it a regular job, close relationships, and the same daily routines until one day it takes control of you again.”
